Seamus Mckenna describes himself as a UK-based multi-instrumentalist and DIY Folk Musician and is based in Falmouth.
Séamus has an extensive history of touring and playing shows all around the UK, Ireland and Europe. Delivering a contrasting mixture of genres built on a foundation of English/Scottish/Irish folk, country music and a healthy dose of rock n roll, his set contains only songs that are important to him and that he is passionate about delivering to the world.
“Man on the Moon” was released in 2022 as a single, the first since 2017’s release of his first album, “Take Me To The Mountains,” which was featured on BBC Radio 6 Music. 2023 saw the release of his Self Made EP – “Working for the King”, containing ancient folk songs such as “High Germany” and “The Limerick Rake”, along with his original track “Working For The King”. August 2024 saw Séamus most recent release, “Yesterday’s Sun”, a haunting and emotive single incorporating all of Séamus’ production/musical abilities and instruments.
Séamus’s new adventures have brought him to mystic and beautiful Cornwall, where he is currently continuing to establish himself as a professional musician
